More than a job title and a CV.
Every appointment has a wider impact on your team. Business Recruitment Services, the recruitment arm of The Human Aspect, supports employers in South Africa with their recruitment needs.
Whether you are replacing a team member, growing a department or looking for specialist skills, start by telling us what the person needs to achieve.

Discuss a recruitment approach suited to your vacancy, with attention to relevant experience, technical capability and availability.
Look ahead
Consider the whole team
Connect the appointment to reporting lines, leadership needs and the support a new employee will need to succeed.
Specialist hiring conversations
Built around the work you do.
Our recruitment focus includes architecture, the built environment and engineering. Share the discipline, level of responsibility and project experience your team requires.
Specify the software your projects depend on, such as Revit or Autodesk Inventor, and the level of proficiency required. Have a different vacancy? Email us to discuss its scope.
A clear way forward
From requirement to next steps.
The scope, responsibilities and commercial terms are agreed for each assignment. This is the starting point for that conversation.

Agree the brief
Confirm essential criteria, remuneration, timelines and the recruitment services required.

Use role-relevant experience and clear selection criteria to guide candidate discussions and interviews.

Keep feedback, decisions and the proposed start date aligned as the process moves forward.
A stronger starting point
What to include in your hiring brief.
A clear brief helps distinguish essential requirements from skills that can be developed. If the role is still taking shape, send what you have and explain where you need support.
You can copy the outline alongside into your email and complete the relevant details.

Your questions, answered.
Who handles recruitment enquiries?
Business Recruitment Services is the recruitment arm of The Human Aspect. Send vacancy and recruitment enquiries to info@busrecruit.co.za. For HR, leadership, succession planning or AI training, use info@humanaspect.co.za.
Can we enquire before the job description is final?
Yes. Share the purpose of the role, the main responsibilities and any requirements already agreed. Identify the points that still need clarification, including budget, reporting lines and the intended start date.
How are recruitment fees and terms handled?
Ask for the commercial terms relevant to your assignment. Fees, payment arrangements, service scope and any applicable replacement provisions should be confirmed in writing before the assignment proceeds.
How long will recruitment take?
Timing depends on the role, the skills required, candidate availability and your interview process. Share your target start date so that realistic next steps can be discussed. A specific placement date cannot be guaranteed.
Are references and other checks included?
Confirm the checks needed for your vacancy and who will arrange them. References, qualifications, professional registration and other checks should form part of the agreed scope where relevant; do not assume that every check is automatically included.
Can we discuss a sensitive or confidential vacancy?
Flag the sensitivity in your initial enquiry and keep identifying details limited. Agree how the company name, vacancy details and candidate information will be handled before sharing sensitive material.
